With over ten years of experience in physician recruitment, Matt offers
extensive experience assisting organizations with their staffing needs. He
founded Carson Kolb in 1998 when he recognized the need for a recruitment
firm based on credibility and integrity, with a keen emphasis on technology
and enhanced services. As an active practicing consultant, he is able to
see both the big picture and the crucial details while developing a
close-knit team of like-minded professionals.
Through his years of proven industry experience, Matt has developed
regional specialties including the Pacific Northwest, central Mid West and
southern states, as well as California
and the southwest. His expertise extends not only to non-profit and
for-profit hospitals, health systems, and private practice placement, but
also to academic searches. Most importantly, he takes great pride in
honest, thorough representation:

Matt graduated with a BS in Marketing from Oklahoma State
University, where he
also played offensive tackle for the OSU football program, participating in
five consecutive major bowl games. Having since hung up his cleats, he now
spends his weekends ocean outrigger canoeing and cycling.

The responsibilities of CEO for Carson Kolb include leading operations,
agency management, marketing, market research, IT management, human
resources, electronic recruiting, legal compliance, and public relations
– just to name a few. For many, such an intense workload can be
overwhelming. For Sally Kolb, it comes naturally, allowing her to focus on
the needs of our clients while running a successful company.
Having begun her professional career over a decade ago in the management
ranks of the American Cancer Society (ACS) – one of the
nation’s top 5 non-profit organizations – Sally has integrated
her knowledge of business systems and management gained while working
alongside key public officials from Orange County and the State of California.
While at ACS, her department set records for funds raised, patient services
implemented, prevention programs managed, and volunteer board members
recruited and retained.
Her deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, established at ACS and
extended at Carson Kolb, serves to lead the decision-making and long range
planning needs of the firm. She strives for communicating and developing
relationships with clients to produce win-win situations: the only accepted
outcome in her eyes. Sally understands the needs of all involved parties
and realizes that when respect is demonstrated, the outcome is often better

Sally graduated from the University
of California at Irvine with a BA in Social Science. When
she is not pouring her heart and soul into the business, she can be found
outdoors enjoying the beautiful Newport
Beach peninsula or creating delicious feasts at
home.
